In business since 1988, we have retained staff, which give us an advantage of invaluable experience to ensure your service or parts event is a seamless process. Western States Converters and Transmissions use only genuine Allison parts when rebuilding an Allison Converter or Transmission. Our Factory trained Technicians are committed to always provide the quality and professional services that you deserve.
Working out of a garage in early 1988, Western States Converters and Transmissions now sits on 2 acres, is fully concreted with a 10,000 square foot building. We are proud to be the most requested Off Highway Allison Transmission builder in California. We’re good, and we’re proud of what we do.

Our Field Service Technicians are MSHA and PASS-PORT trained. This keeps them on site when a State Official comes rolling up!
Caterpillar, ZF, Twin-Disc, it makes no difference, as we build them all for the Off-Highway Markert!
